A Good Line

I talk to my mom a lot, and over the past few days she seems to have developed a love of the good line. I left her a vmail the other day, saying that I'd missed her call because I left my ringer off after class, and when I called her later, she said "That was a really good line...I should use it sometime." At first I thought she didn't understand that that actually happens. People with cell phones sometimes leave them on silent by accident.

But then, the other day, she left me this message, "I thought of a really good line. I'm the Magical Mystery Mom, and I knew you wanted to talk to your sister so that's why I'm calling. But you're not there so I guess I'm not."

Magical Mystery Mom. A good line? Sure
